Thames Valley Hero Award

Hawkridge Distillers, the makers of “The Blowing Stone” Gin wins West Berkshire Business Hero Award.

Thanks so much to the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce for recognising the team at Hawkridge Distillers. We are thrilled to receive the Thames Valley Business Hero Award for West Berkshire. We were distressed to see so many companies exploiting the shortage of sanitiser in the early months of the pandemic. Our work succeeded in getting it into the hands of those who needed it the most – the front line organisations, charities and volunteer groups in our local area.

We are also very grateful to St Nicolas Church and The Greenham Trust for supporting our initiative and helping to fund the raw materials for producing more sanitiser for those in desperate need of it.

Now we are getting back to producing delicious craft gins!
